Limited Warranty & Disclaimer – DLR Golf Carts

At DLR Golf Carts, we stand behind the quality, performance, and reliability of every golf cart we offer. Our goal is to provide dependable vehicles supported by knowledgeable service and strong after-sales care.

This Limited Warranty outlines the coverage, conditions, and responsibilities associated with your purchase.

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

DLR Golf Carts warrants to the original purchaser that each new golf cart purchased directly from us will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and recommended use.

Warranty coverage typically ranges from 3 months to 1 year, depending on the manufacturer and specific model. Full warranty details are provided in the manufacturer’s documentation or are available upon request through our support team.

This warranty applies only to units purchased directly from DLR Golf Carts.

Warranty Eligibility

To qualify for warranty service, the following conditions must be met:

  • You must be the original purchaser
  • The golf cart must be purchased directly from DLR Golf Carts
  • Valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) must be provided
  • The unit must be properly maintained and operated according to manufacturer guidelines
  • The product must not be modified beyond factory specifications

2. What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

Normal Use & Maintenance

  • Routine wear and tear
  • Tires, brakes, belts, bulbs, filters, and other standard service items
  • Damage resulting from lack of proper maintenance

Misuse or Negligence

  • Improper operation, handling, or storage
  • Accidents, collisions, fire, vandalism, or environmental damage
  • Use of incompatible or unauthorized parts
  • Overloading or exceeding recommended capacity

Unauthorized Work or Modifications

  • Modifications to mechanical or electrical systems
  • Alteration of safety features or speed controls
  • Repairs performed by unauthorized technicians

Cosmetic Issues

  • Scratches, chips, fading, minor corrosion, or other non-functional imperfections

Other Exclusions

  • Water damage, flooding, or submersion
  • Commercial or rental use (unless specifically approved for such use)

3. Limited Remedy

If a valid warranty defect is confirmed, DLR Golf Carts will:

  • Provide replacement parts at no cost
  • Assist with manufacturer warranty claims
  • Replace defective components in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Labor costs for installation or removal of parts
  • Transportation or shipping of parts or units
  • Safely returning the unit to our facility or an authorized service provider

Note: Risk of loss during shipping remains with the customer until the item is received.

Exclusive Remedy: To the extent permitted by law, the remedies listed above are the sole and exclusive remedies available under this warranty.

4. Incidental & Consequential Damage Disclaimer

Except where prohibited by law, DLR Golf Carts is not liable for:

  • Loss of use or downtime
  • Transportation or rental expenses
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Total liability is limited to the original purchase price of the product.

5. Warranty Conditions & Customer Responsibilities

Use Approved Technicians

All warranty repairs must be performed by DLR Golf Carts or an authorized service provider.

Follow Maintenance Requirements

  • Initial service recommended within the first 6 weeks of use
  • Ongoing service every 6 months for regular use
  • Annual maintenance strongly recommended

Proper Care

  • Keep the unit clean and properly stored
  • Remove dirt, mud, and debris after use
  • Avoid improper lubrication, especially on braking components

Return Requirements

  • Units must be returned clean for inspection, especially for structural or frame-related claims

Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty may be voided if:

  • Unauthorized repairs are performed
  • Non-approved parts are installed
  • Components are disassembled outside manufacturer guidelines
  • Safety features or speed limiters are modified or removed

Note: This warranty does not limit any rights you may have under applicable U.S. consumer protection laws.
